Making the Cordial: Place every items into a saucepan, heat until it reaches a simmer, stirring so the sugar melts. Next, take off the stove allowing it to cool down completely. Pour to a sterilised bottle, seal and refrigerate it in the fridge, where it will keep for up to a month.
Preparing the Cocktail Base: Combine all the liquids into one big jug, allow it to infuse for 60 minutes, then strain best through a fine cloth, so it's fully clarified.
For serving: Add 85ml of your cocktail base into a stirring glass containing ice, and stir gently for a minute until cold. Pour to a cold coupe glass or equivalent, garnish with a few cranberries and finish by giving it a quick spritz of the essential oil above the glass.
